Holi – The festival of colors:

Holi is a unique festival celebrated in India using colors. Bon fires are lit before the celebration and people play with various colors that makes this festival different from others. There is a deep spiritual significance to this festival. It is a memorial of the time when we burnt our vices by coloring ourselves in the company of the Supreme. At the end of the Kaliyuga [the present time] when we all are wading in the ocean of vices, Supreme Father Shiva Himself comes to uplift all of us by opening our third eye, showers knowledge so we can realize and recognize Him and color ourselves in the color of His company through remembrance so we can become pure like Him again.
